One quiet menu bar item covering subscription limits and pay-as-you-go balances across the AI coding tools you rely on.
Every provider, one glance
Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and Gemini limits read automatically from the tools you already use—plus balance meters for OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Kimi, Z.ai, and Venice API keys.
Reads well before it runs out
Count usage up or down, see relative or exact reset times, and get optional notifications when a limit window or balance crosses your threshold.
Never cries wolf
If a provider briefly fails to respond, the last known numbers stay visible—dimmed, with a "stale since" note—instead of an alarming error in your menu bar.
Fits your menu bar
Full, compact, or icon-only styles, with color states at the same thresholds as the meters. Show every provider or just the most constrained one.
Accessible by design
Full VoiceOver support: the menu bar item speaks a per-provider summary, meters announce values and severity, and warning states use symbols, not just color.
Your agents can read it too
An opt-in, read-only JSON snapshot and an agentmeter CLI let scripts and coding agents check remaining quota before starting a big task.

AgentMeter reads sensitive credentials, so it is engineered—and open-sourced—to prove it handles them correctly.
Credentials stay yours
For Codex, Cursor, Claude, and Gemini, credentials are read fresh on each refresh from the locations the official tools already use. AgentMeter never writes them anywhere, and they never leave your machine except on the request to that provider’s own API.
Keys live in your Keychain
API keys you provide are stored only in your macOS Keychain, shown masked in Settings, removable with one click, and sent only to that provider’s own API. AgentMeter detects key types and always recommends the least-privileged key that works.
No telemetry, ever
No analytics, no accounts, no tracking. AgentMeter is open source under the MIT license, so you can verify exactly what it does—and updates ship through signed, notarized releases.

AgentMeter is released under the MIT license with signed, notarized builds and automatic updates. Source code, releases, and the agent interface documentation live on GitHub.
