What Does a First Month of Local SEO Include?
A practical look at a bounded first month of local SEO for one website and primary location, including the review path, page work, and clear exclusions.
Local SEO can mean a large technical campaign, or it can mean a careful first pass on the pages and local-search signals a business already has. This guide explains the smaller, reviewable version: one website, one primary location, and a written scope before work begins.
The $495 first month
Elaren Studio’s first month is $495 for the first two new marketing clients total across content/social and local SEO. Payment is due in advance after written scope. There is no setup fee and no automatic renewal.
The month includes:
- One website and one primary business location.
- An intent map for up to 10 queries. These are selected from the services, location, audience, and page evidence you provide—not invented search-volume forecasts.
- A Google Search Console baseline and sitemap check, when access is available.
- Two updates to existing pages, up to 1,000 words each, including title, meta, heading, and internal-link edits. Publication follows your approval.
- An optional review of one existing, eligible Google Business Profile, with factual proposed changes for the owner to approve.
- One 30-minute kickoff, one consolidated revision, and a concise month-end report.
The work is scheduled around access, source material, and approval dates. A kickoff may happen before page drafts, while a profile review may wait for owner access. The sequence is agreed in writing rather than treated as a fixed calendar promise.
How query selection works
Imagine a fictional Arlington appliance-repair company whose existing page says:
Before title: “Services | Reliable help for your home”
Before copy: “We are here to help with all your appliance needs. Contact us today.”
An intent map might prioritize “appliance repair Arlington,” “refrigerator repair Arlington,” and “washer repair near Arlington,” alongside service-area and contact-intent variations. The rationale is simple: each query connects a named service to the company’s primary location and to a page the business can accurately support. We would not claim that these terms have a particular demand volume, ranking difficulty, or future result without verified evidence.
An annotated update could become:
After title: “Appliance Repair in Arlington, TX | Northside Home Repair”
After copy: “Northside Home Repair diagnoses and repairs refrigerators, washers, and dryers for Arlington households. See service details, coverage, and how to request an appointment.”
The example adds service specificity, location context, and a next step. It is fictional planning material, not a client result or ranking claim.
What the profile review means
An existing profile is optional. If the business has no eligible profile or operates online only, the website scope remains available. We do not promise eligibility, verification, publication, rankings, leads, sales, or AI citations. Any Business Profile edits require owner approval before publishing.
What is outside this scope
This first month does not include paid SEO tools, backlink campaigns, citation cleanup at scale, a website rebuild or migration, filming, advertising or ad spend, social or email publishing, or community management. Those are separate decisions and scopes.

After month one
Continuation is optional at $750 per month, held for six months for the first two marketing clients total across both package options. It remains month to month with no automatic renewal. Each continuing month includes two existing-page updates up to 1,000 words each, a Search Console review, an eligible profile check when available, and a report. We confirm the next written scope before any further payment or work.
